What it Means to be Singaporean is a thought-provoking student-written musical that tells the story of Rachel and her father, a new immigrant family striving for a better life in Singapore. As they encounter the highs and lows of adapting to their new home, they must navigate cultural differences, societal expectations, and the realities of life in a diverse city-state. Through these challenges, Rachel and her father embark on a journey of self-discovery, grappling with the question: What truly defines being Singaporean?
